Kick-off at the Children's Advocacy Center of Collin CountyThe Children's Advocacy Centers of Texas, Inc. (CACTX) launched the "One With Courage" campaign at the center. Guest speaker Senator Florence Shapiro, C.E.O. Lynne Mclean, CACTX Executive Director Joy Hughes Rauls and Collin County Assistant District Attorney Michelle Voirin all delivered strong-messages centered around the core of the campaign...the courage it takes to talk about child sexual abuse. In Texas, one in four girls and one in six boys will be abused before they turn 18. Only one in 10 will tell. Senator Florence Shapiro said, "working together, we can empower our community." Let's all pull together in this fight for our children. Be the "one"! Go to www.onewithcourage.org. Click here for event pictures! |
